What to start a club!
So, you have a fantastic idea for a club that you know will benefit students at AHS! Before you officially register, it’s important to gauge interest. One effective way to do this is to ask a teacher to create a Google Classroom for you to connect with potential members. Once you’ve gathered a few interested students, you can hold an informal meeting to discuss your ideas and complete the club registration form together.
For this form you will need to know:
Your Teacher Advisors Name
Your President, vice president, Secretary and Treasurer.
You will needs to know what day you will meet and when and the first day of your first meeting. You should review the established club times for conflicts. The 2024-25 club list is posted below.
Once you have that all figured fill out the AHS Student Club Registration Form.
Now you need to start meeting and make sure to follow the protocols!
Make sure to spend some time learning the protocols of a club Club Protocols for AHS
If you want to have an event you will need to register the event at Club Activity Registration – Use this form to notify Administration and ASB that your club is doing an activity on campus. Please be aware that if you are fundraising or will be spending money, other forms may also be required as well.
There are meeting for club leaders in the ASB room that you should also attend to learn about ways to engage with the community.
