This year was very successful for both the Girls and Boys Water Polo teams. The Girls Varsity beat Sierra Pacific in CIF and put up an impressive performance against Redwood, unfortunately resulting in a loss. The Boys Varsity came out of the season hot, beating Clovis North and AG which has never been seen before from an Atascadero Water Polo program. Next year the girls are looking strong with many of the Varsity players being Sophomores and Juniors this year. However, next year the boys team is going to have to work harder, losing six of their strong starters (Austin Bennett, Jett Hardy, Jamo Vander Weide, Rylan Miller, Liam Pollington, and Beau Heinemann).
