Atascadero High School’s Homecoming dance was last Saturday, September 14th, 2024. As I stepped onto school grounds, the colorful decorations for the “Let’s Groove Tonight” theme impacted me. My first impression was that everyone looked fantastic in their formal attire. The energy was high due to the large student turnout. You could tell that the students were enjoying all the food selections, such as the taco and shaved ice trucks and the numerous clubs selling tasty bites, drinks, and mocktails. The light-up dance floor glowed bright, improving the dance atmosphere for everyone attending. The balloon backdrop for photos gave an excellent retro vibe. My friends and I kicked back and enjoyed the night, having a fun and enjoyable time
