The Atascadero Greyhounds pulled off a thrilling 20-17 victory over the Righetti Warriors, showcasing resilience and determination as they captured their fourth consecutive win. The game was particularly special, marking Senior Night and the last home game of the season, making the victory even better for the players and fans. The atmosphere was electric, with many supporters coming to celebrate the senior athletes who have dedicated their time and talent to the team.
The game stayed tight from start to finish, with both teams pushing each other to the limit. Atascadero’s offense commanded the field with a balanced and powerful attack, racking up 366 total yards — 270 of those from their dominant ground game.
Senior running back Josiah Gaona led the charge with a career-high 127 rushing yards, skillfully breaking through Righetti’s defense. Fellow senior Austin Smith added to the offensive momentum, contributing 58 rushing yards and scoring two critical touchdowns.

Mastagni delivered a perfect kick, sending the ball through the uprights and clinching a 20-17 victory for Atascadero.
The win boosted Atascadero’s record to 5-3 (Not Current) with momentum on their side, eager to build on their winning streak.
