My brother Logan and I Set the chairs in two rows of 12. While Ms. Angela and Ms. Lexi wiped down tables and set out condiments, Ms. Amanda scooped ice cream, and Ms. Jane and Ms. Debbie cooked and plated the hot dogs. 

We invited students from TLC, Ms. McQuitty, and Mr Mayancsik’s classrooms. 

The first thing Mr Cooper told everyone was to put their phones in their backpacks. Then we went out and sat in our two rows of chairs. All the aids helped come up with social cards for us to read off to each other. 

We would read our cards and talk to each other for 1-minute about what we will be doing over summer, what our favorite parts of the school year were, and for seniors, what we are going to do after high school. After the 1-minute timer would go off, we would move down seats and get a new social card, and a new partner. 

After we asked every question, then we went inside and got ready to eat. The hot dogs were ready for us, and the ice cream was ready for us to pick our soda to make a soda float. 

Mr Cooper put on the movie Luca, to stick to the theme of accepting everybody and their differences.

This was our 3rd Social Party of this year.  We had also done a Winter social party with hot chocolate and games; as well as a Valentines day Social Skill “speed dating” party (which is where we got the idea for the timed questions) with candy and baked sweets.
