“Library Tech”
Since 1921, our library has served as a cultural hub on our campus. The library houses stories of all kinds, including fantasy, horror, mystery, fiction, and nonfiction. After a while, books get outdated, discoveries make books obsolete, and new ideas and stories are written. Someone needs to organize and archive some books and let go of others to make room for more ideas. That’s where Mrs. Taylor, our new Library Tech, comes in. She also helps check out books, grow the maker space, and support the library as one of AHS’s cultural hubs.
Ms Taylor moved to Atascadero from Toronto, Canada, where she used to work at a corporate bank. Ms Taylor looks forward to living in Atascadero, as a change of pace from the big city, and being with her husband who lives here. Mrs. Taylor loves reading and working with kids and thus has the perfect temperament for a high school library tech. In the future, Mrs. Taylor wants to get her master’s degree and become a counselor. Mrs Taylor loves playing soccer outside and on a women’s soccer team. She also loves the beach and going on hikes. She will make a great addition to Atascadero’s library and our community.
