What is Top 30? It is a meaningful, personal ceremony that honors the accomplishments and achievements of the Class of 2025’s Top 30 seniors. All seniors are eligible to apply for this distinction. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of teachers and staff led by Mrs. Baca. What are the qualifications to be considered?
Who are the Top 30 Seniors? They are students who are dedicated to scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Criteria: Top 30 students are students who during their entire high school career have demonstrated and/or exhibited at least two or more of the following
- Academic Excellence examples: Honor roll, National Merit Scholar, Bank of America Award, CSF, NHS, Academic Letter Recipient, ASB Student of the Month, Golden State Awards, Scholar-Athlete Award
- Service to the School examples: Participation/leadership in clubs, school activities, tutoring, stats, represented school in extra curricular activities (think: FFA, art and writing contests, competitive teams)
- School Leadership examples: Leadership role or position of leadership within school organizations
- Community Service examples: Volunteering for community service, civic projects and membership/leadership in community organizations. School based community service DOES count as long it is NOT required for a grade.
- Citizenship examples: Students must have maintained good citizenship in the classroom (Including regular attendance), on campus and in the community.
