On October 4th 2024 KADOKAWA a japanese entertainment company that does a wide array of tasks such as publication, animation, film, gaming, web services, and education/EdTech created a manga competition for the world to compete in.  

This Competition will last from October 4th- February 28th, with anyone being able to compete for this challenge. The rules are that it must be wordless due to it being an international challenge, It can be in color or black or white, and the comic needing to be at least 8 pages minimum and 60 pages maximum.

There are two competitions that you can enter: a themed competition that relates in some way to Don Quixote with him needing to be a character in the story, or you can enter into an original manga competition where your imagination can run wild.

First place for both competitions will get 10,000 USD and will have manga editors help you further your manga creations as well as your works being published by KADOKAWA as well getting to be invited to an award ceremony and editorial department tour, with second place getting 5,000 USD and third getting 3,000 USD.

The judges for this competition will be Ranmaru Kotone, the artist behind your name. manga, Minoji Kurata, the artist The Apothecary Diaries manga (Shogakukan ver.), and Isuna Hasekura the author, behind Spice and Wolf.
